This is a memory resident encrypted parasitic virus. It hooks INT 9, 10h, 17h, 21h and 27h. It infects the COM-files upon their execution. Sometimes it erases disk sectors. It changes the numbers when it is displayed or printed. It duplicates the keyboard input.
This virus writes itself at the end of the file and changes the second (not the first) file instruction to the 'call to virus' command:
XXXX XXXX ; first file instruction
CALL VIRUS ; jump to the virus body
all. .....
It also contains the text string:
My name is Emmie, I am Eddie`s sister.
.com .COM

It is not a dangerous memory resident partly encrypted parasitic virus. It hooks INT 21h and writes itself to the end of EXE files that are executed or closed. Depending on the system timer the virus beeps by PC speaker. The virus does not infect the files: AI*.EXE, WE*.EXE, DR*.EXE, it detects these files by using the string:

These are harmless memory resident parasitic viruses. They hook INT 21h, and write themselves to the end of EXE files that are executed. The header of infected files contains the word:

"AJ.793" is a very dangerous virus. In February, starting from the 6th, it formats hard drive sectors. It also corrupts the anti-virus databases of ANTI-VIR.DAT and CHKLIST.MS.
