It's a harmless memory resident parasitic virus. It hooks INT 21h and infects by the standard manner COM- and EXE-files. It searches the inside of COM-files for the area of equal bytes and writes itself into that area. It also contains an internal text string in Russian.

It is a very dangerous memory resident parasitic virus. It hooks INT 8, 21h and writes itself to the end of EXE files and to the beginning of COM files that are executed. It does not infect the files COMMAND.COM and CV.EXE. Sometimes it encrypts the disk sectors and displays:

These are not dangerous memory resident parasitic viruses. They hook INT 9, 21h, 2Fh and write themselves to the end of .COM files that are executed.
Depending on the system timer the viruses exchange the video fonts of the symbols '1' and '2', changes the keys in keyboard buffer. "Locust.1158" also manifests itself with a sound effect, and with a video effect if EGA video adapter is installed. These viruses contain the text strings:
