Description Gwar

It is a very dangerous memory resident encrypted and stealth boot virus. It hooks INT 13h and writes itself to the boot sector of diskettes and MBR sector of hard drive that are accessed. The virus copies its TSR copy to the interrupt table. From January 1st till 7th the virus displays a message and erases sectors on the hard drive, the message looks like follows:

This is a benign memory resident boot virus. It hooks INT 13h, and writes itself to the boot sector of hard drive and boot sectors of floppy diskettes being accessed. On the 25th day of each month, the virus displays the following message:
TSCU RGF Kiryanov Niklaus'99 (c)In_sAnE

The virus also contains the text strings:
THNX:Grands,Parents,Bros,Max,Oleg,BLA,HNB..

It is not a dangerous nonmemory resident parasitic virus. It searches for .COM files, then writes itself to the end of the file. Depending on the system time the virus displays the picture:
