These are not dangerous memory resident parasitic polymorphic viruses. They hook INT 21h and write themselves to the end of EXE files that are executed.
Depending on the system date "Hydra_II.1162" displays:
This is Hydra v1.0.
Don`t panic, I will not destroy your data.
If the day number is equal to the month number "Hydra_II.1649" manifests itself with a video effect and then displays the message:
This is Hydra v1.1.
Don`t panic, I will not destroy your data.

It's a non memory resident dangerous virus which searches for COM-files and writes itself to their beginnings. It sets the 'diagnostics status byte' of CMOS to FFh. It also contains the decrypted string "*.COM PATH=".

Description Fichv Family
These are memory resident dangerous parasitic encrypted viruses. They hook INT 21h, and write themselves into .COM file beginnings. They set the file time to xx1Fh. In March, they erase the content of disks A: and B: if one of them is a current disk. They also contain the string:
*.com COMMAND****FICHV 2.1 vous a eu*****

This virus infects .EXE files in a standard manner. It contains the text:
