It is a harmless memory resident parasitic virus. It hooks INT 21h and writes itself to the end of COM and EXE files that are executed. While installing the virus sets INT FFh vector to INT 21h original address and while infecting the virus uses INT FFh calls instead of INT 21h.

This virus contains five macros in one module "ZMK98FAV": AutoOpen, FileSaveAs, FileTemplates, ToolsMacro, ViewVBCode.
It infects the global macros area on opening an infected document and infects documents on saving with a new name. The virus then searches and infects documents in the current directory.
The virus displays the MessageBoxes:
