Description Jenifer family
These are not dangerous memory resident encrypted parasitic viruses. They hook INT 21h, 2Ah and write themselves to the beginning of COM and to the end of EXE files that are executed or closed. The viruses do not infect several anti-viruses and utilities: ADINF, WEB, AIDSTEST, SCAN, ARJ, ZIP, LHA, RAR, COMMAND. The viruses have several bugs and in most of cases fail to infect a file or halts the system. Depending on the system timer the viruses display the messages:

"Jenifer.1466": Jenifer v2.0 stealth virus. 06/01/96

This contains two macros: AutoClose, AutoExit. The virus infects the system and documents upon closing files. Upon exiting Word, it displays the MessageBox:
