It is a very dangerous memory resident encrypted parasitic virus. It hooks INT 21h and writes itself to the middle of EXE files that are executed. The virus has bugs and in some cases infects COM files as EXE and corrupts them, depending on the system timer erases the disk sectors, contains the text:

This Word macro virus contains nineteen macros:

PakisPratiwiFileOpen, FileOpen

It infects the global macros area on opening an infected document (AutoOpen) and infects other documents on opening, saving and saving with new name (FileOpen, FileSave, FileSaveAs).
On opening a document, before infecting it, the virus deletes all macros in there (if they exist). When closing the virus rewrites the FileOpen macro (tries to protect itself against other viruses?)
On August 19 it displays the MessageBox:

Starting from 1998, starting from 19:00 the virus displays the UserDialog:

This is an encrypted virus. It is related to the "Macro.Word.Concept" virus. It contains seven macros: K, a678, PARA, SITE, I8U9Y13, PayLoad, AutoOpen.
On AutoOpen on 16th day of any month the virus replaces '.' to ',' , 'a' to 'e' and 'and' to 'not' within a document. On AutoExec on the same date the virus displays a Dialog box with the texts:

Parasite Beta version 0.8!

"Parasite.b":
Parasite virus 1.0
Parasite virus version 1.0!

On AutoExit at the same date the "Parasite.b" virus displays a Dialog box with the text:
Parasite virus 1.0
Your computer is infected with the Parasite Virus, version 1.0!
