This is a dangerous memory resident parasitic virus. It hooks INT 21h and writes itself to the end of COM files that are executed. On October, 8th this virus overwrites the sectors of current drive with the string:

These are memory resident harmless viruses. They hook INT 13h and infect floppy Boot-sectors and hard drive MBR by the "Stoned" method. They encrypt the content of the original Boot and MBR sectors before saving on disk. These viruses also contain the encrypted word "Monkey".
