It is not a dangerous nonmemory resident encrypted parasitic virus. It searches for EXE files, then writes itself to the end of the file. On October 23 virus by using not documented DOS function "switches off" the A: B: D: E: F: G: disks and displays the text: Infected with Lacimehc, coded by KilJaeden of the Codebreakers 1998 on 17/06/98

Description Macro.Word.Dust
This is an encrypted macro virus. It contains four macros: AutoExec, AutoOpen, FileSaveAs, STARDUST. The virus infects the global macros area (NORMAL.DOT) on opening an infected document. On Word startup the virus infects recently used documents listed in FileList. The virus also writes itself to documents that are saved with a new name. The virus inserts into documents the text: StarDustMemories

Other documents the virus infects on their opening, creating and closing.
