The virus infects the global macros area (NORMAL.DOT) on opening an infected document and writes itself to documents that are saved with new name. Depending on current date it erased system files or formats the C: drive. The virus contains comments:

It is a harmless memory resident parasitic virus. It hooks INT 21h and writes itself to the end of COM files that are executed or opened. It contains text strings in Russian.

These are very dangerous nonmemory resident encrypted parasitic viruses. They search for .COM files and write themselves to the end of the file. Depending on the system date they erase the hard drive sectors. The viruses contain the text string:
