It is an encrypted macro virus. It contains one macro AutoOpen and infects system and documents on opening. On Friday 13th it writes to the C:AUTOEXEC.BAT file the commands:

CLS
ECHO Friday the 13th sends greetings to everyone who's reading this text.

It is a dangerous memory resident boot virus. It hooks INT 13h and writes itself to the MBR of the hard drive and to boot sector of the floppy disks. The virus uses not allowed program tricks and often halts the system. On December 30 the virus decrypts and displays the message:

It is a harmless nonmemory resident parasitic virus. It searches for EXE files, then writes itself to the end of the file. The virus contains the ID-word "IR".
