Description NED.Nukehard

This is a dangerous non-memory resident parasitic polymorphic virus. It searches for COM files, and writes itself to the end of the file. In December, it formats the hard drive sectors, and then reboots the computer. It contains the text strings:
*.COM
IT'S HARD. SMAUG REIGNS SUPREME AS THENEW FORCE IN VIRUS WRITING.
SMIRK. SMIRK. POOF!

This is a very dangerous memory resident encrypted parasitic virus. It hooks INT 1, 3 and 21h, and writes itself to the end of COM files that are loaded into the memory. It copies the TSR part into the highest addresses of the 640K RAM, and does not fit the MCB list that may halt the computer. While debugging, or on December 21st, the virus displays:

to open its pedals revealing the pure beauty of its sincere love.

Many were the buds you rather shined upon
opening them - revealing their phony colours.

Not having found one to do your light justice,

The virus then erases the C: drive sectors, and reboots the system. It also contains the text:

This is a relatively harmless memory resident encrypted parasitic virus. It hooks INT 1Ch and 21h, and writes itself to the end of COM and EXE files that are executed. On February 6th and November 17th, the virus decrypts and displays similar messages to the following:

WARNING ! Your PC has been WANKed !
>> 17.11.1989 <<
Viruses against political extremes , for freedom and parliamentary democracy.
>> STOP LENINISM , STOP KLAUSISM , STOP BLOODY DOGMATIC IDEOLOGY !! <<
