Description Overkill Family

These are dangerous parasitic polymorphic viruses. "Overkill.1191" and "Overkill.1308" are nonmemory resident ones, they search for the files and infect them. "Overkill.1385" is memory resident virus, it hooks INT 21h and infect the files that are executed or opened. "Overkill.1191,1385" write itself to the beginning of .COM file, "Overkill.1308" writes itself to the end of EXE files.
"Overkill.1191,1308" contain the text:

"Overkill.1191" also contains the text:
Chi vuol esser lieto, sia: di doman non v'e' certezza.

In some cases these viruses display the message and wait for keyboard input. Then they return control to host program on 'N' key, or halt the computer on 'Y' key. They display:

It is a harmless memory resident parasitic virus. It hooks INT 21h and writes itself to the end of COM and EXE files that are executed. It uses the word at the address 0000:0415 (scratch pad for manufacturing error tests) as ID-word while installing its TSR copy.

Description Screen.600

It is not a dangerous memory resident parasitic virus. It hooks INT 9, 21h and writes itself to the end of COM files that are executed or opened. When Alt-Ctrl-Del keys are pressed, the virus "shakes" the screen.
