Rajaat.518 is a dangerous memory resident multipartite virus. During execution of an infected file the virus hits the MBR of the hard drive. While infecting it redirects the active boot sector to the virus body (see Starship virus). On loading from infected MBR it hooks INT 13h, 21h and writes itself at the end of .COM-files on writing (INT 21h, AH=40h) to them. It hits COMMAND.COM file. It may cause the system crash on DOS loading. The virus contains the internal text string:

It's a not dangerous not memory resident virus. It scans subdirectory tree and of there are not .COM-files in specified subdirectory, this virus creates "worm" file with random selected name and .COM extension. It writes itself into this file. Depending on the system timer this virus stays memory resident, hooks INT 1Ch and manifests itself by the video effect. This virus contains the internal text string: "MK Worm / Trident".

This is a very dangerous memory resident parasitic virus. It hooks INT 21h, and writes itself to the end of .COM files that are executed. On Fridays, some time after installation, the virus starts to delete files instead of executing them. The virus contains the text:
