Description Shiny Family

These are not dangerous memory resident parasitic viruses. They hook INT 1, 3, 9, then they trace INT 21h and patch the first byte of DOS part of INT 21h handler with CCh opcode (INT 3 call). On execution of COM and EXE files thise viruses write themselves to the end of these files. Sometimes they change the letters on the screen:

KK26.1011

Description KK26.1011

It is not a dangerous memory resident parasitic virus. It hooks INT 21h, 28h and writes itself to the end of .COM files. When a .COM file is executed, the virus stores its name, return control to the original INT 21h handler and infects this file on next INT 28h call.
Depending on the system timer the virus seeks by hard drive heads and displays one of the messages:
Now you can turn off the power all
Warning ! In drive A: are two diskettes !
Kiss my keyboard !
Please put a new disk into your ass !
I am hungry! Insert Hamburger in drive A:
Hard disk`s head has been destroyed.
Can you borrow me your one ?
Virus `Kk-26` detect in power unit !
Disconnect your mouse, there are some cats !

KKV2.923

Description KKV2.923

It is not a dangerous memory resident companion virus. It hooks INT 21h and creates companion .COM file on accessing to EXE files. It also creates KKV2 file, and contains the text string:
