It is a dangerous memory resident parasitic virus. It hooks INT 21h and writes itself to the end of COM files that are executed. The virus does not changes file header and entry point - it traces the file and writes its JMP_Virus code into the middle of the file. Depending on the system timer the virus displays:

and halts the system. The virus also contains the string:

NORMAL.DOT Infected files
AntiVirus AutoOpen
FileSave AntiVirus
WordHelp WordHelp
WordHelpNT WordHelpNT
It infects the system while opening an infected document (AutoOpen) and writes itself to documents on saving them (FileSave).
On WordHelp and WordHelpNT it writes new colors to Colors section in system profiles (WIN.INI file).

This is an encrypted Italian Word macro virus. It contains three macros: AutoOpen, NoMercy, AutoClose. The virus infects the global macros area (NORMAL.DOT) on opening an infected document (AutoOpen) and writes itself to documents that are closed (AutoClose).
On entering Tools/Macro menu the virus displays the MessageBox:
