Description Sniper

This is a dangerous, memory resident boot virus. It hooks INT 13h, and infects the MBR of the hard drive and boot sector on floppy disks. In September upon booting from an infected disk, the virus corrupts the CMOS and displays the following message:
MR.SNIPER -

It is a harmless nonmemory resident parasitic virus. It searches for COM and EXE files in current and parent directories, then writes itself to the end of the file. The virus contains the text string:

Eumel family

Description Eumel family

These are harmless nonmemory resident parasitic viruses. They searches for .COM files of the C: drive, then writes itself to the end of the file. Several of these viruses are encrypted. "Eumel.381.b" corrupts the files while infecting them. These viruses contain the text strings:

"Eumel.708,718" display the message and play a tune similar to the tune by "Yankee" viruses, the message is:
You have got the NO TRON Virus!
Don't support TRON in D-17149 Stavenhagen
