It is a dangerous nonmemory resident encrypted parasitic virus. It searches for COM files in the current directory, then writes itself to the end of the file. In 1997 the virus corrupts the host file (tries to disinfect it but fails?). It contains the text strings:

This is a benign memory resident parasitic virus. It hooks INT 8, 9, 21h, and 27h, and writes itself to the end of COM and EXE files that are accessed. The virus checks file names and does not infect files: AI?????? (AIDSTEST), CS?? (mistyped SCAN?), -V (old AVP name), VM?, ST?????. When any program remains memory resident, the virus moves its TSR copy and merges it with this program's code.
On April 26th, the virus displays the following message:

It is not a dangerous memory resident encrypted parasitic virus. When an infected file is executed, the virus searches and infects EXE files of current directory, then it hooks INT 15h, 21h and writes itself to the end of EXE files that are executed.
While infecting the virus may corrupt the files (bug). It manifests itself by a music. On INT 15h, AX=8500h call it displays "?" symbol (F9H ASCII), It contains the text string:
