It is a harmless memory resident parasitic virus. It copies itself into Video RAM at the address BB00:0000, copies its INT 21h handler to DOS data area at the address 0600:0000, hooks INT 21h and writes itself to the end of COM files that are executed. It contains the text string: STAR5

The file overlay contains an encrypted (xor 90h) .REG file. When launched, the file is saved in C:ParaTemp.reg using the following command: regedit.exe -s C:ParaTemp.regall.
