It's dangerous memory resident encrypted parasitic virus. It hooks INT 10h, 21h and writes itself to the end of .EXE-files that are executed or closed. It searches for SMARTC*.CPS and CHKLIST.* files and deletes them. On INT 10h calls it compares sequence of AL register values with the string "-=*@DIE_LAMER@*=-", and erases disk sectors if they are equal. It also contains the internal text strings: smartc*.cps chklist.* VLamiX-1

This is a relatively harmless memory resident parasitic virus. It hooks INT 21h, and writes itself to the end of .COM and .EXE files that are executed. The virus contains the ID-string: "DIEG". In August, the virus also hooks INT 1Ch and 28h, and within 15 minutes after installing into the memory, the virus "shifts" the screen to the left.
