It is a harmless nonmemory resident parasitic virus. It searches for SYS files (DOS device drivers), then writes itself to the end of the file. The virus does not manifests itself in any way. It contains the text strings:

It's dangerous memory resident encrypted parasitic virus. It hooks INT 10h, 21h and writes itself to the end of .EXE-files that are executed or closed. It searches for SMARTC*.CPS and CHKLIST.* files and deletes them. On INT 10h calls it compares sequence of AL register values with the string "-=*@DIE_LAMER@*=-", and erases disk sectors if they are equal. It also contains the internal text strings:

This is a relatively harmless memory resident parasitic virus. It hooks INT 21h, and writes itself to the end of .COM and .EXE files that are executed. The virus contains the ID-string: "DIEG". In August, the virus also hooks INT 1Ch and 28h, and within 15 minutes after installing into the memory, the virus "shifts" the screen to the left.
