These are harmless nonmemory resident encrypted parasitic viruses. They search for .COM files, then write themselves to the end of the file. They use several anti-debugging tricks and quite tangle infection routine. They do not manifest themselves in any way.

Description AWME.1267
This is a harmless nonmemory resident parasitic polymorphic virus. It searches in the current directory for COM files except several antivirus scanners and COMMAND.COM, then writes itself to the end of the file. The virus containes the text strings, the first one is the names of antiviruses (two bytes per name):

*.com*
This is a simple [AWME] demo virus by AD.

Description AWVCK.156
This is a very dangerous nonmemory resident overwriting virus. It searches for EXE and INI files, then overwrites them, displays the message and returns to DOS:
