TS.1418
Description TS.1418
It is a dangerous memory resident encrypted parasitic virus. It hooks INT 21h and writes itself to the end of COM and EXE files that are accessed. This virus uses quite difficult method of "on-the-fly" encryption by using tricks with INT 1 (tracing). Depending on the system date it corrupts the disk sectors or hooks INT 13h and disables writing on the disk.

Cryptor family
Description Cryptor family
These are harmless nonmemory resident parasitic polymorphic viruses, their polymorphic engine is quite strong. They search for .COM files, then write themselves to the end of the file. The viruses do not manifest themselves in any way, they contain the text strings: "Cryptor.2169": -= CrYpToR v1.0 =- (C)1995 by -Nigh+-$piri+- [$UPD 1.0], $pirit's Universal Polymorphic Device v1.0.
