Sometimes they encrypt the contents of the logical sectors of the current disk and type: Your disk is dead! Long live DOOMSDAY 1.0

It is not a dangerous memory resident parasitic virus. It copies itself into Interrupt Vectors Table, hooks INT 21h and writes itself to the end of COM-files that are executed. While terminating of the files the virus hits the C:COMMAND.COM file. On December, 25th the virus displays the message: Happy Birthday Doperland!!!
