It is a harmless nonmemory resident encrypted parasitic virus. It scans directory tree, searches for .COM files, then writes itself to the end of the file. The virus contains the text:

These are harmless nonmemory resident encrypted parasitic viruses. They search for .COM files, then write themselves to the end of the file. They use several anti-debugging tricks and quite tangle infection routine. They do not manifest themselves in any way.
Tankard Family
Description Tankard Family
These are the harmless memory resident parasitic viruses. They hook INT 21h and write themselves to the end of .COM files except IBMBIO.COM and IBMDOS.COM. The viruses also contain the text strings:
