Description V.948

It is a harmless memory resident parasitic virus. It writes itself to the beginning of COM and EXE files, except COMMAND.COM. While executing an infected file the virus searches for the files in the directories that are marked in the PATH, and infects them. Then the virus disinfects the host program, executes it, hooks INT 21h and stays memory resident. On DOS calls ChDir (INT 21h, AH=3Bh) the virus searches and infects the files in the current directory.
The virus does not manifest itself. It contains the text strings:
COMMAND.COM*.COM *.EXE PATH=

It is not a dangerous memory resident parasitic virus. It hooks INT 21h and writes itself to the end of EXE files that are executed or opened. The virus does not infect files with names that are finished with digit or "EB" or "ST" (WEB, AIDS). The virus also compares file name extension with "DBF" and cancels attempts to open these files.

It is a harmless polymorphic virus. It contains the text string:
[Oi Dudley!][PuKE]

NoFrills.Kcat.1358
It is a very dangerous memory resident parasitic virus. It hooks INT 9, 21h and writes itself to the end of COM and EXE files that are executed, opened, or while accessing to the file attributes. The virus corrupts EXE files while infecting them.
The virus creates the C:WIN386.DAT and writes into there the keystrokes that are entered. The virus contains the text strings:
