Description Vampirus.1499
It is not a dangerous memory resident encrypted parasitic virus. It hooks INT 1, 1Ch and 21h. On execution of COM and EXE files (except COMMAND.COM) it infects them. Sometimes it plays a tune. It contains the text strings:

This virus does not manifest itself in any way. It contains four modules:

AutoOpen TempAutoOpen
TempAutoExec AutoExec
TempFileSave FileSave
TempFileOpen FileOpen
The virus infects the global macros area (NORMAL.DOT) on opening an infected document and writes itself to documents that are opened or saved.
