Description VBS.Lanus
This virus is written in Visual Basic Script (VBS) language and encrypted (it is a VBE - Visual Basic encoded script). When activated, it searches for files with .html and .htm extensions and infects them by writing its code to the top of file.
The virus marks infected files with a "tag-mark" () and doesn't infect them again.
The virus doesn't contain any payload.

This macro virus does not manifest itself in any way. It contain two macros in infected documents and NORMAL.DOT:

The virus copies itself to the global macros area and to documents on file closing (AutoClose) - it copies the macros "AutoClose" <-> "Hi", and "AC" <-> "AutoClose".

This is an encrypted macro virus. It contains two original macros that have different names in infected documents and NORMAL.DOT:

The virus infects the system and documents on opening and saving files. It creates a new variable in infected documents:
