It is a dangerous memory resident parasitic virus. It hooks INT 1Ch, 21h and writes itself to the beginning of .COM files are loaded into the memory. While infecting a file it encrypts the original beginning of the file, and uses 10h bytes of BIOS as a encryption key. As a result the correct decryption and execution of these files is possible only on the computers with the same BIOS. If the original beginning of the file cannot be decrypted, the virus terminates the execution of the file (calls Terminate DOS function INT 20h) and starts its internal counters. According to its values the virus displays the red cross having the text in its center: VINDICATOR

This is a memory-resident harmless boot virus. It hits the MBR of hard drive on booting from the infected floppy, and the floppy Boot-sectors on reading/writing the disk sectors. It hooks INT 13h. Sometimes it displays the messages in Russian.

It is not a dangerous memory resident parasitic virus. It hooks INT 21h, 27h and writes itself to the beginning of COM files that are executed. While infecting it encrypts the host file. On December, 10th it hooks INT 9 (keyboard) and skips every 3rd 'D' char when it is pressed.
