It is a harmless memory resident parasitic virus. It hooks INT 1Ch, 21h and writes itself to the end of COM and EXE files that are executed. The virus does not manifest itself. It contains the encrypted text strings:

Description Pantera_II family
These are harmless nonmemory resident encrypted parasitic viruses. They search for .COM files, then write themselves to the end of the file. While decrypting their code the viruses read the boot sector stamp (55AAh) from the MBR of the hard drive and use this constant value in decryption loop.
