Win32.Kaze.2056
Description Win32.Kaze.2056
Kaze.2056 is a dangerous non-resident parasitic Win32 virus. The virus itself is 2056 bytes in size and is written in Assembly language. Kaze.2056 searches for and tries to infect all Win32 executable applications (PE EXE files) in the current directory and all its sub-directories. During the "infecting" process the virus writes itself to the end of the file. However, if the current date is the 22nd day in a month the worm writes the word "KAMIKAZE" or up to eight zeroes at the beginning of any found EXE files instead of infecting them. Kaze.2056 doesn't contain any specific text string.
