Description Win32.Ramdile
"Ramlide" is a non-dangerous non-memory resident parasitic Win32, encrypted virus. It infects Win32 applications only. While infecting the virus encrypts itself and writes itself to the end of the file.
When the infected file starts the virus infects *.EXE, *.SCR, *.CPL files in the current directory, and it then infects the following files in the Windows directory: CALC.EXE, NOTEPAD.EXE, CDPLAYER.EXE, WRITE.EXE, PBRUSH.EXE.

On the 7th, 12th, 17th and 22nd of any month the virus drops the "ramlide.bmp" image file and registers it as desktop wallpaper.
The virus also contains the text strings:
[RAMLIDE]
Ramlide -- Dedicado a E.Rall
[Win32.Ramlide.10609]

Freew

Description Freew

It's very dangerous not memory resident virus which searches for .COM-files (except COMMAND.COM) and writes itself into their beginnings. It contains the text strings: "Freew", ".. *.* *.com COMMAND.MKS_VIR.". It can overwrite the files by a small program which types "Program terminated normally" and returns to DOS.

Freezer family

Description Freezer family

These are dangerous memory resident parasitic viruses, "Freezer.980" is an encrypted virus. They hook INT 8, 21h and write themselves to the end of COM and EXE files that are executed or opened. Depending on their counters the viruses erase the CMOS. They contain the text strings:
"Freezer.830": I am Freeze
"Freezer.980": I am Freezer. V2.0
