It's a dangerous not memory resident encrypted parasitic virus. It searches for COM-files and writes itself at their ends. Before infection the virus displays the string:
Wormsign !

It leaves the memory resident program that hooks INT 13h, 1Ch, 26h and on accessing to boot sectors it clears the byte in boot sectors that contains the number of disk heads. Some DOS versions halt PC on accessing to such disks. Some time after that program displays the message:
W o r m s i g n !

The virus contains the additional text string:

These are not dangerous memory resident multipartite viruses. On execution from infected file or on loading from infected disk they hook INT 13h, 21h and write themselves at the end of files, into MBR of hard drive and floppy boot sectors. These viruses are stealth ones. On accessing to infected sectors. "Australian.1024.a" hits COM-files are executed or opened, "Australian.1024.b" hits COM- and EXE-files on their execution. Depending on number of infected objects "Australian.1024.a" displays the message:

Upon copying, it decreases the word in the address [0000:0413] (RAM size), but does not infect the MCB blocks. It can crash the system. Then the virus hooks INT 21h, and writes itself to the end of COM-files accessed. On December 4th it, displays the message:
Happy Birthday to Anke Huber, The best tennis player in the world.
She will be "-" years old today.

where "-" is a number reflecting the tennis player's, A. Huber's, age.

This is a harmless memory resident parasitic virus. It hooks INT 21h, and writes itself to the end of .COM-files on call to DOS function FindFirst FCB (DIR command). The beginning of the infected files contains the word "AP". The virus contains a code, which erases the disk sectors, but control is never passed on to that code. It contains an internal text which is also never used:

"Australian.1135" contains a bug and an EXE-file infection that halts a computer. It contains another bug, and upon file opening, it hits data files as well as executable.
