These are dangerous memory resident parasitic encrypted viruses. They hook INT 21h and write themselves to the end of EXE files that are executed. Sometimes these viruses play a tune. They also display the message: Be Careful. YEKE Controls Your Computer.
and then halt the computer. Yeke.2425 Sometimes this virus erases the CMOS and the disk sectors, then it plays a tune and displays the message: TERMINATOR 2 livesall The Judgement Day has come! Your system has been terminated.
It also overwrites the disk sectors with the program that displays while loading: This system has been terminated.

It's a harmless memory resident parasitic polymorphic virus. It traces and hooks INT 13h, 21h and writes itself at the end of COM- and EXE-files that are executed. It contains the internal text strings: "Appelscha :-)".

Description April
This is a benign boot virus. It hooks INT 13h, and writes itself to the boot sector on floppy disks and to the boot sector of the C: disk on the hard disk. The virus infects the hard drive while loading from an infected floppy and infects floppy disks that are accessed. In April, the virus also hooks INT 17h, and while printing a text replaces letters "." with "!" and "" with "".
