It's a dangerous memory resident parasitic virus. It copies itself into the system buffer, hooks INT 21h and writes itself to the end of .COM-files that are executed. Sometimes it terminates the program instead of executing it. It contains the internal text string: "*CAPICUA*".

It is a harmless memory resident parasitic virus. It hooks INT 21h, 2Fh and writes itself to the end of COM-files that are executed, and SYS-files that are opened. The virus does not manifest itself in any way. While installing the memory resident copy the virus uses "Are you here?" call with INT 21h, AX=FFFFh. The TSR copy returns "LA" in AX register.

It is not a dangerous nonmemory resident encrypted parasitic virus. It searches for EXE files, then writes itself to the end of the file. On October 23 virus by using not documented DOS function "switches off" the A: B: D: E: F: G: disks and displays the text: Infected with Lacimehc, coded by KilJaeden of the Codebreakers 1998 on 17/06/98
