It's a memory resident dangerous virus which hooks INT 9, 13h and infects the floppy Boot-sectors by a virus "Brain" algorithm. It moves the TSR part into the memory at a random address and does not change the system areas. It can cause the computer to hang-up. This virus checks the keyboard and beeps when the Alt-Ctrl-Enter pressed. It also erases the FAT and DIR sectors of the drives.

It is a dangerous nonmemory resident encrypted parasitic virus. It searches for .COM and .EXE files and writes itself to the end of the file. While infecting the virus converts the EXE files to COM format, it also renames the file being infected to the name 'PATHHUNT', infects it, and then renames back to original name. The virus corrupts the .DBF files, contains the text: *.COM *.DBF *.EXE PATHHUNT PATH=

It is a dangerous nonmemory resident parasitic virus. It searches for COM (except COMMAND.COM) files in current directory and directories that are listed in PATH, then writes itself to the end of the file. On December 30th the virus creates (overwrites) the AUTOEXEC.BAT file on current disk and writes the commands to there: @echo off echo PATH-Virus v1.0 from AWVC laboratoriesall PATH-VIR.COM
The virus then creates the PATH-VIR.COM file and writes a program to there, being executed that program halts the computer.
