Christmas.1694 is a benign memory resident parasitic virus. It hooks INT 21h, and writes itself to the end of EXE-files that are executed. From November 24th till the 26th, it also hooks INT 8 (timer), and then displays the following message and plays a tune: Merry Christmas and happy new year ! Written from Tamsui Oxford college.

It is not a dangerous memory resident parasitic virus. It hooks INT 21h and writes itself to the beginning of .COM files that are accessed by the FindNext FCB DOS function. On the 30th of any month or depending on the system timer the virus beeps, moves data on the screen, decrypts and displays the message: My name is APADANA I am a virus version 1.3

Description APME.Demo.620 APME is an ordinary polymorphic generator such as MtE and TPE. There is only one known virus APME.Demo that is included in APME.ZIP distribution package as APME.COM file. The virus opens APME.COM file, and overwrites it with new virus copy. Then the virus displays: [_PME] Alpha PolyMorphic Engine by ViKing - Version 1.04b
