This is a very dangerous memory resident virus, which hooks INT 21h and infects .EXE files in a standard manner that are loaded into memory. From February until March, it erases the files "C:IO.SYS" and "C:IBMBIO.COM", and then it types: "Close ..".

It is a harmless memory resident stealth parasitic virus. On execution of infected file it scans the ENVIRONMENT area for the COMSPEC= pointer, hits the command processor (COMMAND.COM), and disinfects the host file. On execution of infected command processor the virus hooks INT 21h and writes itself to the end of COM- and EXE-files that are accessed. It contains the internal text strings:
