This is a harmless memory resident parasitic virus. Upon execution, the infected file writes the virus body to the end of the file C:COMMAND.COM and returns to the host program. Upon execution of an infected COMMAND.COM file, the virus copies itself to the high addresses of standard DOS memory and hooks INT 21h. Upon copying TSR, this virus does not correct the information in the MCB. Then it writes itself to the end of .COM files that are executed. On August 28th, it displays the following message: Today we commemorate the DODO. The bird who has become the victim of human civilization !!!!!

It is not a dangerous nonmemory resident encrypted parasitic virus. It searches for .COM files and writes itself to the beginning of the file. Depending on the system date the virus displays the messages: Happy Birthday Kirti ! Y.S.
